As a single mom with two teenage boys, I know the struggle parents face these days: feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and frustrated. No doubt being a parent is one of the toughest jobs there is; on the other hand, it can be one of the most rewarding!

By applying what I discovered since becoming a Coach Your Teen to Success™ (CYTS) facilitator, my life with teens has changed for the better. Previously, I THOUGHT we were communicating because we were talking, but we weren’t getting anywhere. The arguments continued because nothing ever changed. Now that I know how to communicate, using a win/win approach, we feel closer to each other than we have in years. Every day I am so grateful to have learned these essential seven steps along with the customized guidance to help me coach my children—bringing out their best.

Teens are my passion. I’m the founder of www.teenacity.com where teens are accepted for who they are. I feel very strongly about helping teens feel confident. To this end, I am certified in “Principles of Self-Esteem…” by Confident Girls & Guys and the Self-Esteem Institute of Canada.
