As a respected thought leader, educator, and parent, I have helped hundreds of teachers, parents, and kids overcome and survive the perils of teenage life. I use practical guidance and coaching as a means to help parents and educators bring out the best in our youth and teens. During my time with the Department of Human Services, I helped families in crisis situations gain stability and hope in their lives. Over the last decade, I have worked closely with teens and their parents as a school counselor to resolve problems which have included bullying, failing grades, peer pressures, family issues, and surviving grief and loss.

As a Coach Your Teen to Success Facilitator, this 7-step model has been very instrumental in helping kids (and everyone else) tap into their inner wisdom and find their own answers. It gives teens the confidence and the ability to make better decisions and to take charge of their own lives…and, it does so without being imposing and demanding. As an educator, I have discovered that the CYTS Model is as effective in a school setting as it is in the home. I have seen tremendous results with many of the students I counsel.
